Park Place Restaurant & Bar (New Hyde Park) Park Place Restaurant & Bar officially opened its current New Hyde Park location in March 2021, revitalizing a historic space with a modern fine-dining interior and a spacious outdoor patio. While this specific location is a newer addition to the neighborhood, it is a continuation of the owners’ original Park Place concept which first established itself as a premier gastropub in 2010. The restaurant has quickly become a local staple, joining the Greater New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce and hosting high-profile community ribbon cuttings. It is known for its “innovative cuisine” and serves as a versatile venue for everything from family celebrations to professional meetups. The owners’ commitment to the area is reflected in their active involvement with local business organizations to help drive regional economic growth.

Cara Mia Restaurant (Seaford) The DeCiantis family has been a pillar of the Italian dining scene since 1970, with the Seaford location—Cara Mia Due—opening its doors on September 29, 2006. This establishment carries on over 50 years of family tradition, serving authentic recipes that have been passed down through four generations. In addition to providing a “hearty, traditional taste of Italy,” the restaurant has a long history of community engagement, including participating in local “Taste of the Towns” events and supporting regional fundraisers. During the 2020 pandemic, the Seaford location served as a vital hub for the community by housing a Guac Shop pop-up to test new food markets while maintaining local service. Its longevity and consistent quality have made it one of Seaford’s most enduring and respected “fine Italian gems.”
